Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when purchasing downloadable WordPress plugins and related digital products from IA Webspace.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
1. About IA Webspace
These Terms & Conditions govern purchases of WordPress plugins, downloadable software and related digital products from iawebspace.com. IA Webspace provides its products and related information through iawebspace.com.
Website development, managed hosting and other ongoing services may be covered by a separate written agreement.
2. Products, pricing and orders
Product descriptions, licence options and prices are shown on the relevant product page. Applicable taxes and additional charges are displayed before checkout.
Payments are handled through the methods offered at checkout. An order confirmation does not restrict your statutory rights.
3. Digital delivery
Downloadable software is normally made available after successful payment and order processing. Eligible customers receive access through their registered customer account or another authorised delivery method, together with licence information where applicable.
Please keep your order confirmation and licence information for future reference.
4. Software licences
Each plugin is supplied under the terms on its product page, including the applicable number of website activations and licence period.
For IA Cookie Consent Pro, the initial offering includes:
- One WordPress website activation
- 12 months of commercial updates and technical support
- Use of the installed plugin after that commercial term ends, subject to its applicable software licence
Commercial activation terms do not override permissions granted by applicable open-source software licences.
5. Updates, expiry and renewals
Updates and support are provided during the applicable licence period, subject to the product description and mandatory consumer law.
An expired commercial activation licence does not automatically disable the installed consent functionality of IA Cookie Consent Pro. New commercial updates and support may require renewal, without prejudice to any legal entitlement to updates or remedies.
Licences do not automatically renew unless the customer expressly agrees to an automatic-renewal arrangement at purchase.
6. Installation and compatibility
Customers should review published WordPress, PHP and other technical requirements before installation, maintain appropriate backups and test updates where possible.
Compatibility may vary with hosting, themes and third-party plugins. Where supplied software fails to conform to the contract or consumer law, applicable statutory remedies remain available.
7. Cookie consent software
IA Cookie Consent Pro provides technical controls for visitor preferences, supported optional scripts and embeds, and a reviewable inventory of detected cookies.
It is not a legal compliance certification and does not guarantee compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy legislation or other privacy laws. Website operators remain responsible for reviewing classifications, configuring their site and meeting applicable legal obligations.
8. Intellectual property and open-source rights
IA Webspace retains rights in its original branding, documentation and materials, subject to applicable licences and law. Certain software components may be distributed under the GPL or other open-source licences. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences.
9. Technical support
During the applicable support term, support covers reasonable plugin installation, activation, configuration and product-related troubleshooting enquiries. Bespoke development, unrelated website issues and third-party repairs may require separate arrangements.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Digital purchases are subject to the IA Webspace Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable statutory consumer rights.
For digital content supplied immediately, any exception to the normal cancellation right depends on satisfaction of the required express-consent, acknowledgement and confirmation conditions. Merely downloading the product does not automatically remove those rights.
11. Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricts mandatory consumer rights. IA Webspace is not responsible for issues caused solely by unauthorised modifications or unrelated third-party configurations, except where responsibility or a remedy is required by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Irish law, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence.
